LOUGHTON HIGH STREET

COMPLETED JUNE 2021

Loughton High Road one of the smallest yet most prominent and successful projects we completed so far working as Main Contractor.

Back in 2020 we were asked to come up with solution to renovate façade of this building, constructed in mid 60-s. After initial BIM design concept produced in Revit by our design team, client agreed to use out large format aluminium cladding system GL1 and roof coping system GLC1 finished in polyester powder coating from Interpol with very fashionable Sandstone effect. Both systems were approved by local Building Control with agreement of London Fire Brigade.

Whilst having almost identical to stone appearance GL1 cladding is 4 times lighter and offered to our client substantial cost saving in builders work and shortened on-site programme by 25%.

To add flavour of traditional brickwork to blend new façade with the rest of the building we offered to use Gebrik brick slip insulated cladding.

  • Rockwool Duoslab insulation
