GLADIOUS SCOPE OF WORK

The project involved the strip out and partial internal demolition of an existing 1960’s office block, converting the 16-storey building to a retail space on the ground and part first floors and residential accommodation to the second – sixteenth floors.

The design also included the construction of an additional 6 storeys to the existing building, comprising new residential accommodation and a rooftop garden.

Carolyne House / No. 26 has had great success being shortlisted for a number of awards in London and Ireland, most notably taking home the International Building Project of the Year at the 2019 Irish Building & Design Awards.

Gladious was called mid-way through the construction process to assist with installation of Gebrik brick cladding after the previous sub-contractors were not able to fulfil the quality and programme requirements.

We commenced work on the 7th floor and continued completing all remaining cladding up to the roof terrace level on the 22nd floor.
