Gladious Ltd have very strong links in the glazing industry, going back more than 20 years. As such, we have vast experience and expertise in delivering a broad range of glazing projects starting from simple punch-in windows to more intricate patio and communal doors and finishing with very complex, multifaceted unitized and stick-built curtain wall systems.

CLADDING and SCREENING
Cladding and screening systems form a key part of our External Building Envelope solutions covering a wide range of non-combustible cladding materials, the majority of which we manufacture or procure in-house, with emphasis on tried and tested METAL, STONE, SLATE , TERRACOTA, GRC and BRICK cladding.
Whichever the choice of material, every building envelope we undertake is extensively planned to ensure it is delivered safely and on time, within the budget guidelines, according to the agreed Project Specification, Building Regulations and Warranty Provider requirements.
All our cladding systems include necessary wall cavity elements such us support frames, insulation, fire cavity barriers, cavity closures, interface details, membranes etc.
Steel framing systems (SFS)
Another key element of our External Building Envelope solutions is SFS - proven, cost-effective, fast track and programme efficient steel-stud panel framing systems which are either fixed as infills between the primary structural frame (concrete or steel) or constructed as self-supporting load-bearing panelised assembly creating structural frame of the building itself.
At Gladious we partner with a few market leading SFS systems such as FrameClad, Ayrshire Metals and Metsec which we usually combine with our cladding, glazing and metalwork products offering our customer a complete turn-key solution for design, supply and installation of external envelopes.
metalwork and powder coating
With two purpose-built factories located side-by-side in Hertfordshire, we manufacture and polyester powder-coat a wide range of pressed and architectural metalwork such as:
- metal cladding panels and pressings
- perforated panels
- window cills, pods and spandrel panels
- brackets
- louvre screens
- steel doors and screens
- railings , balustrades, canopies, etc.

Combined with an in-house design team, experienced and skilled installers and professional management, metalwork is one of our key offerings to customers as a turn-key solution starting from our very first conversation about the job to the final hand-over.
installation and maintenance
Built on the foundations of a successful fenestration installation company, Gladious Ltd continue to work with a LABOUR ONLY or LABOUR + CONSUMABLES & EQUIPMENT type of contracts which remains an important part of the business.
Our installation teams consist of trained, qualified and loyal people with decades of experience in façade installations. Most importantly, during installation-only jobs we offer exactly the same level of contract, site management and supervision as we do for other contracts giving customers the peace of mind when it comes to handling and installation of their product.

Our maintenance services range from simple replacement of the silicone joints and window gaskets to extensive repairs involving major replacement of glass panels, frames, curtain wall elements and cladding, often involving MEWPs, cranes and Traffic Management.
We also undertake extensive cladding investigation, cladding replacement works and have full insurance cover for these types of jobs.
